DANVILLE - While there are four Danville Borough Council four-terms up for re-election this year, only three candidates filed nominating petitions for the offices.
They are Republican incumbent Collins Stump of 114 W. Mahoning St. in the 1st Ward, Republican incumbent Betty Ann Moyer of 438 Mill St. in the 3rd Ward and Bruce Wray, a Democrat from 114 Mowery St. in the 2nd Ward.
Also filing petitions for Danvllle were: Democrat Mary Ann Davis, judge of election in 1st Ward; Republican Calvin Dean Martin for judge of election in 2nd Ward; Democrat Donna McKenna for judge of election in 3rd Ward; and Democrat Helen Lynn for judge of election in 4th Ward. Inspector of election candidates are Democrat Barbara Bordner and Republican Elaine Mussich,1st Ward; Republican Amy Raspaldo-Hein, 2nd Ward; Democrat Alice Malich and Republican Phyllis Slocum, 3rd Ward; Democrat Burretll Metzger, 4th Ward.
In Washingtonville, no one filed for two four-year council terms and for two two-year council terms. No one filed for a tax collector position as well as three auditors’ posts and a constable’s office. Republican Nancy Yeich is running for judge of election and Republican Shirley Reigle is running for inspector of election.
