Traffic Advisory: Route 15 near Allenwood

— ALLENWOOD — Route 15 southbound traffic, south of Allenwood, will be detoured late Saturday night and Sunday morning to facilitate emergency roadway repairs in the work zone just north of Interstate 80.
The southbound detour will start at 10 p.m. and continue until approximately noon on Sunday.
Southbound traffic will be directed to take the White Deer Exit, turn left onto White Deer Pike, right onto Old Route 15, then at New Columbia turn right onto New Columbia Road and back to Route 15.
The detour will allow the contractor to make repairs to the roadway shoulders, which have been carrying work zone traffic at the bridge repair site.
Repairs in the northbound direction will be scheduled sometime later next week.
