SHAMOKIN DAM -- The Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced the list of area high school students named as Young Americans for March.
Each month, the chamber recognizes students from participating schools for academic and community achievements.
Throughout the following month, The Daily Item will publish photos of each Young American along with information on their school activities, achievements, community involvement and interests.
Young Americans for March are:
n Danville: Melissa Patterson, of Danville;
n Lewisburg: Sadie Kenny, the daughter of Bill and Amy Kenny, of Lewisburg;
n Line Mountain: Olivia Paul, the daughter of David Paul and Cathy Klinger, of Dalmatia;
n Meadowbrook Christian School: Matthew Seibert, the son of David and Lesley Seibert of Milton;
n Midd-West: Kimberly Dreese, the daughter of Scott and Joyce Dreese, of Middleburg;
n Mifflinburg: Kollie Bilger, the daughter of David and Vanessa Sawnseen and Barry Bilger, of Mifflinburg;
n Selinsgrove: Scott Gehman, the son of Mark and Maria Gehman, of Shamokin Dam;
n Shikellamy: Kyle Raynes, the son of Dawn and Mark Raynes, of Northumberland;
n SUN Area Career & Technology Center: John Stuck, the son of John A. and Tabitha Stuck, of Freeburg.
