Morning crash on Snydertown Road

SUNBURY — A Northumberland County Adult Probation employee escaped serious injury when her car flipped on its roof Monday morning.
Barbara Moncavage, 58, of Ashland, was driving west on Snydertown Road in Upper Augusta Township shortly before 9 a.m. Monday. She lost control of her car on an S-curve west of Zimmerman Hollow Road and went off the left side of the road.
The car struck a tree and overturned, coming to rest on its roof in the middle of the road.
Moncavage was taken to Sunbury Community Hospital by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.
Firefighters from Upper Augusta Township and Sunbury assisted at the scene.

An Ashland woman sustained minor injuries when her car ran off Snydertown Road in Upper Augusta Township, struck a tree and flipped over Monday morning. She was taken to Sunbury Community Hospital by ambulance following the 8:55 a.m. accident.
