SUNBURY — A Northumberland County attorney who pleaded guilty to harassment and disorderly conduct earlier this year is being investigated by the Office of Disciplinary Counsel.
Richard R. Feudale, 42, of Mount Carmel, was charged with four summary offenses following an Oct. 18, 2007, incident at a Sunbury bar during which he allegedly used obscene language and harassed Jessica Jellen, 24, of Kulpmont, and Scott Johnson, 20, of Sunbury.
Feudale pleaded guilty to two counts of harassment and disorderly conduct before District Judge Robert Bolton in January. One count of disorderly conduct was withdrawn.
He was fined $75, plus court costs.
On Friday, the state Supreme Court noted the convictions and referred the matter to the Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) for “investigation and appropriate disposition pursuant to Rule 214 (g).”
The ODC is responsible for investigating complaints against attorneys in Pennsylvania, and when appropriate, prosecuting them.
