RIVERSIDE — A 28-year-old Northumberland County woman died Saturday when her car collided head-on with a pickup truck just after 2 p.m. in Rush Township.

Abigail Revenis, of 109 Nottingham Drive, Elysburg, was pronounced dead at the scene by Northumberland County Deputy Coroner James Gotlob, according to state police at Stonington.

Revenis, driving a 1991 Mazda 626 east on Route 54, swerved for unknown reasons near Kaboodle Road and collided with a 2000 Ford F-150 driven by Michael Habowski, 27, of Kulpmont, who was traveling west, state police said.

Habowski suffered minor injuries and was taken to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, by the Danville Ambulance Service. He was listed in fair condition Saturday night, according to a nursing supervisor.

State police said both drivers were wearing seat belts. Elysburg and Southside fire companies assisted at the scene.
