Woman murdered in York; ex-boyfriend arrested Associated Press YORK — Police in central Pennsylvania say a woman who had just moved to the state from Ohio was shot and killed over the weekend, and they have charged her ex-boyfriend.
York police say 33-year-old Jessica Morales was found shot in the head and chest when police responded to her York home at 2:17 p.m. Sunday. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say Julio Angel Gonzales-Pagan, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, was found kneeling next to her body. Police say he told officers that he and Morales had lived together for eight years but she had left him. Police say Gonzales-Pagan has been charged with criminal homicide and is being held without bail; it was not immediately clear whether he had an attorney.
