MIDDLEBURG — A Thompsontown man said he entered his former boss’s house and stole various items earlier this month because he was upset about being fired from his job and not receiving a paycheck, authorities said.
Kyle David Stahl, 22, along with Robert Wesley Kessler, 24, also of Thompsontown, entered the dwelling of Tyler Snook, of the 2300 block of Richard Road, Center Township, Snyder County, between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Nov. 5.
They admitted to stealing two .30-.30-caliber Winchester rifles, five boxes of baseball cards, jewelry, ammunition, two knives, cigars and tools.
Stahl and Kessler led state troopers to a camp site in Delaware Township, Juniata County, where the items were stored in a camping trailer, officials said.
A Middleburg National Bank checkbook, bottle of Scotch and coins were reported missing and have not been recovered.
The men have been charged with burglary, theft by unlawful taking and criminal trespass.
