DANVILLE -- Three people were jailed after police allegedly found more than 115 packets of suspected heroin in a home.
Paula McMann, 54, and Thomas McMann, 58, both of 209 Center St., were charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
William I. Goodman, 51, of Lock Haven, was charged with felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and tampering with or fabricating evidence.
Danville police said that at 2:48 p.m. Wednesday, they received a call about two unresponsive people at the Center Street address.
After Mr. and Mrs. McMann had been revived, the drugs were found and all three were charged, authorities said.
Police said Goodman was charged with possession of 117 packets of suspected heroin and the McManns allegedly both were found to have 83 packets of suspected heroin.
The couple also allegedly had a black case with a spoon, string and rubber bands for drug use, police said.
The McManns were taken to Geisinger Medical Center and later arraigned by District Judge Craig W. Long, of Columbia County. Both were committed to the Montour County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail. Goodman was arraigned by District Judge Donna J. Coombe, of Columbia County, and placed in the Montour County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Danville police were assisted by the Montour County Sheriff's Office, Mahoning Township Police Department and Danville Ambulance Service.
