HUMMELS WHARF -- The 2009 Home Show, which begins Friday at the Susquehanna Valley Mall, offers an assortment of home improvement resources, creating a one-stop shopping experience for the latest in products, techniques and services to help plan winter and spring projects.
"It's a great time of year to come out and talk to builders, water conditioning experts, window replacement businesses, gutter replacement experts, basement renovators and much, much more," said Leslie Imhoof, special projects executive with The Daily Item.
"The best thing about the Home Show is that people interested in making home improvements have one place to go where a variety of services are available," Imhoof said. "And these are all Valley people. You don't have to travel 30 miles to find experts. The vendors are all under one roof at the expo."
Scheduled to participate are Apache Homes, Atlantic Window Works, Brookside Homes, Bath Fitter, Buffalo Valley Repair, C-Atlantic Waterproofing, Expert Home Builders, Hoffman's Outdoor Power & Repair, Mid-Penn Engineering Corp., P.R. Home Improvement Solutions, Smith's Custom Woodworking, Tri County Water, Wayne M. Stahl-Simonton Windows, Window World and at least 10 other businesses.
The Home Show will run through Sunday. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Sponsoring the expo are The Daily Item, The Danville News and the Sunbury Broadcasting Corp.
