Lewistown man killed in Mifflin County crash

LEWISTOWN — A 29-year-old Lewistown man was killed Saturday afternoon in a single-car crash in Decatur Township, Mifflin County.

Rickey Lee Rhodes Jr., 29, was killed in the crash at 5:15 p.m. along Guss Road, just off Route 522, state police at Lewistown said.

Rhodes was driving west on Guss Road when his 200 Honda Civic went off the road on a left curve. The vehicle went across both lanes of traffic, struck and embankment then rolled onto the roof and skidded a short distance before coming to rest.

Police said Rhodes was not wearing a seatbelt and he was partially ejected from the car during the crash.
