DANVILLE — An Orangeville woman will face Montour County Court action on charges of burglary and theft of drugs from Geisinger Medical Center.
Lisa Ann Bialecki, 31, waived her right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday. She was returned to jail.
Mahoning Township police were called to the hospital June 1 about Bialecki being detained for defiant trespass. She was fired from the hospital Aug. 22, 2011, and told not to return unless for treatment.
On Sept. 21, 2011, and Sept. 25, 2011, she returned to the hospital and was found in secure locations, according to Patrolman Chad Thomas. She was evicted and told not to return.
On May 31, Geisinger security called police to say Bialecki was back on hospital property. A video showed her accessing a secure location using a combination key pad on a locked door, police said. She entered the proper code and gained access to the secured location and then left the property, police said.
Police were called June 1 about Bialecki being in the hospital.
Thomas took her into custody and was driving her to her vehicle so she could remove the keys from the ignition. She began pulling items from underneath her shirt, police said. They included three plastic containers labeled Morphine Sulfate, a packaged needle, a packaged syringe and two Tramadol tablets, police said.
Thomas said she started crying, saying she stole the items and needs help with her drug addiction.
Thomas charged her with two counts of burglary, criminal trespass, possessing a controlled substance, use of or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, theft and receiving stolen property.
