Shows headed inside Tuesday night

DANVILLE —

DANVILLE – Because of inclement weather forecast, three free events of Zing Productions will move July 2 from Memorial Park to Grove Presbyterian Church across from the park on Bloom Street.

About 15 children from Zing will perform at 6:10 p.m. After that, the kitchen band from the Aphasia Center will present three numbers with accompaniment by spoons, whistles and washboards.

About 15 Zing singers will entertain at 7 p.m. Their theme will be Americana music ranging from a Tom Jones’ number to “The Halls of Montezuma,” Brady said.

Vic Boris of Shamokin will be on keyboard. He serves as musical director of the group, from the Danville-Riverside areas, formed about two years ago.
