DANVILLE — A man, his girlfriend and a friend allegedly arranged to sell heroin to an informant Nov. 21 at 508 Evergreen Pointe.
Mahoning Township police charged Donald W. Erlston Jr., 25, of 24 Cooper St. and 508 Evergreen Pointe, his girlfriend, Megan Lynn Thomas, 20, of 508 Evergreen Pointe, and Cody Allen Foust, 18, of 112 Railroad St.
Montour County District Judge Marvin Shrawder arraigned the three. Thomas and Foust were committed to jail in lieu of $20,000 bail, and Erlston was placed in jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
According to police, Erlston and Thomas have an infant daughter.
Erlston was charged with criminal use of a communication facility and five prohibited acts offenses related to selling and possessing heroin. Police charged Foust with two prohibited acts related to delivering and possessing heroin. Thomas was charged with two prohibited acts related to delivering and possessing heroin.
According to the charges, police provided the informant with $40. Northumberland-Montour Task Force officers observed the informant deliver the money.
