— LEWISBURG — A 66-year-old Muncy woman was injured in the collision of a car and oil fuel truck along Market Street in Lewisburg on Tuesday.

Rosemary Miller was taken to Evangelical Community Hospital following the crash at 3:27 p.m., and later transferred to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where she was listed in fair condition today.

Buffalo Valley Police said a Superior Plus Oil truck, operated by Jason Dampman, 39, of Ranshaw, was traveling south on 15th Street when he pulled his rig into the intersection of Route 45, and into the path of Miller’s Chevrolet Cobalt.

Rescue crews worked for more than 20 minutes to free Miller from the wreckage. Dampman was not injured.
