YORK — Three teenagers have been arrested and a fourth suspect is being sought after authorities say they used a potato gun to shoot a spud through the window of a central Pennsylvania home.
Northern York County Regional Police responded to the home in Dover Township just after midnight Tuesday and found a potato that had been shot through a wall and into a bedroom.
Officers went to a local grocery store and found two people had purchased two 5-pound bags of potatoes a short time earlier. Police reviewed surveillance video and were able to track down suspects. Three have been arrested and police say the fourth will be in custody soon.
The teens are charged with aggravated assault, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure and other counts.
