Hot trucks should be easy to spot

Another business vehicle stolen

MILTON — For the second time in a week, a company has reported a vehicle stolen in the Valley.

On Wednesday afternoon or early Thursday morning, a Martin’s potato chip delivery truck loaded with boxes of chips was reported stolen from the Martin’s warehouse in East Chillisquaque Township, according to state police. Police said the theft occurred sometime between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 5;15 a.m. Thursday.

The white Chevy cargo van is an older model vehicle with the Martin’s logo located on all four sides of the vehicle and the name “Dave” posted below the driver’s side mirror, according to police.

The vehicle also has “truck #38” posted on the driver and passenger sides of the vehicle.

This report follows the search for a Service Electric truck, reported missing from Point Township on Wednesday. The vehicle was later recovered in Danville and no charges have been filed in relation to the incident.
