Charges filed in fatal Centre County crash

BELLEFONTE — State police have arrested a central Pennsylvania woman they allege was "huffing" from a can of dust cleaner before she crashed her car into another vehicle, killing the driver.

Twenty-two-year-old Danielle Packer of Bellefonte faces 18 charges including third-degree murder, vehicular homicide while under the influence, involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault and traffic violations.

The August 2012 crash in Benner Township claimed the life of 25-year-old Matthew Henry Snyder of Howard.

Centre County District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller said Packer is accused of buying dust cleaner from a Walmart in College Township and inhaling it in the parking lot and again while driving.

Packer was arrested Wednesday and sent to the county prison on $500,000 bail. Court documents do not list an attorney for her.
