2 injured in Beaver Township accident

PAXTONVILLE — A 34-year-old Danville woman was undergoing treatment at Geisinger Medical Center at deadline Thursday night after suffering injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 3:13 p.m. on Route 522 in Beaver Township, Snyder County.

Diana Hagenbuch was the driver of a 2012 Ford Escape that was traveling north when state police at Selinsgrove said James Pyle, 36, of Middleburg, turned left into the Beavertown Grocery and the vehicles collided.

Pyle was driving a 2002 Toyota Tacoma.

Police said Pyle was extricated from his pickup truck and taken by helicopter to Geisinger in Danville. They said he was not using his seat belt but multiple airbags deployed.

Geisinger had no record of him at deadline.

Hagenbuch was taken by ambulance to Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, troopers said.

They said she had chest pains but described her injuries as minor.

She was using her seat belt and also had multiple airbags deploy.

Both vehicles were towed.
