Admission at the Bloomsburg Fair going up this year

BLOOMSBURG - It will cost $3 more per person to get into the Bloomsburg Fair this year.

Members of the fair's board voted unanimously Tuesday to raise the price from $5 to $8. The admission price increase will help stablize finances following the devastating flooding from Tropical Storm Lee, which forced the cancellation of the fair this past September.

The fair committee had to spend $1.2-million of their savings on cleanup costs following the flood, the Press Enterprise of Bloomsburg reports.
