POLAND, Maine — The Maine man killed in a shooting on a Pennsylvania highway was a fun-loving friend and gifted mechanic.
Family and friends of Tim Davison in Poland, Maine, are preparing for his funeral this weekend as the killing remains unsolved and police in two states search for the gunman.
Davison was a natural with machinery and worked as a pipe fitter, welder and supervisor. He also liked to get outdoors where he went “mudding” in his Jeep, rode a motorcycle and camped. Tom Printup said his 28-year-old friend was upbeat and fun, and that others gravitated to him.
Davison was shot to death early Saturday on Interstate 81 in Pennsylvania. Police are investigating whether the same gunman fired on another motorist earlier in the evening.
