White Deer Railroad Bridge in place and nearing completion

WATSONTOWN -  After several months and controversial road closures, the White Deer Railroad Bridge trestle is in place, bringing closer the much-anticipated completion of the rail restoration project, Union County officials said today.

With the near-million-dollar bridge complete, rail service capability will return to the county, serving Great Stream Commons industrial park. Rail and ties are expected to go in over the next few weeks.
