SELINSGROVE — Call it a Super Sunday, if you are a New York Giants fan.
That’s because Giants fullback Henry Hynoski and wide receiver Hakeem Nicks will visit Amato’s Pizza on Route 522 in Penn Township to meet fans.
Marcello Amato, who has passion for sports and memorabilia, said he is in touch with the New York Giants all the time and decided to bring in a few of the players.
“I have a connection with the Giants,” he said. “I met these guys during the regular season and I have a hobby of collecting sports memorabilia and figured this would be a nice thing for Giants fans.”
Hynoski is no stranger to the Valley. The former Southern Columbia High School and University of Pittsburgh football star visits family and friends regularly.
In his last game last year, Hynoski scored his first NFL touchdown and performed the memorable “rhino dance.”
“It will be great to have him here,” Amato said. “This should be a fun day for fans.”
The first 100 fans will receive a free Hynoski autograph, and anyone thereafter will have to pay $10, Amato said.
Hynoski will appear from noon to 1:30 p.m. and Nicks, from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m.
Nicks will charge $55 for autographed photos and $70 for any other items fans want signed.
Both players will be available for pictures at an additional cost, Amato said.
There will be other New York Giants memorabilia for sale as well as a silent sports auction.
