MILTON — A Milton man questioned after his mother’s death earlier this month was found dead Monday afternoon in a vehicle lodged against a guardrail in a parking lot on Hepburn Street.
Mark Boyles, 55, of 8 Park Lane, was pronounced dead at the scene by Northumberland County Coroner James Kelley, Milton police reported Monday night.
Police said they responded at about 4:30 p.m. to the Kuhn’s Bros. parking lot in the 700 block of Hepburn Street, where a vehicle was reported resting against the guardrail with an unresponsive occupant. The occupant was later identified as Boyles.
Kelley ordered an autopsy, but police said Boyles’ death does not appear to be suspicious “except as it relates to the ongoing death investigation of Vennie Boyles, of 8 Park Lane.”
Vennie Boyles, 80, was found dead Nov. 4 in the home she shared with her son. Police found Mark Boyles on Nov. 8 at Dunkin’ Donuts in Lewisburg and brought him in for questioning but later released him.
