Driver ejected from rolling vehicle escapes serious injury

LEWISBURG — A Mifflinburg man narrowly missed a house when he lost control of his vehicle and rolled through a front yard this morning.

Kenneth Reamer, 24, lost control of the 1994 Ford Explorer he was driving when coming around a curve on Furnace Road in East Buffalo Township and rolled through the front yard of the home at 789 Furnace Road, according to Malcolm Herman, with the Buffalo Valley Regional Police Department.

“He was ejected,” Herman said. “The vehicle rolled at least once.”

However, Reamer was walking around after the crash, said Darryl Fisher, with the Buffalo Valley Regional Police Department.

No information as to what caused Reamer to lose control was immediately available, according to police.

Reamer’s vehicle also narrowly missed smashing into the house located on the property. No one was home at the time of the crash, Herman said.

Reamer was taken from the scene of the incident by ambulance, Herman said.
