Cops: Heroin sold at home

Deal suspect was target in December home invasion

LEWISBURG — A man at the heart of a bizarre home invasion case in Lewisburg is in Union County Jail, charged last week with selling heroin to an undercover informant.

Jeffrey Perez-Guzman, 29 of Lewisburg, faces seven charges stemming from his June 6 arrest after allegedly selling heroin to confidential informant under the surveillance of Buffalo Valley Regional Police, Milton Police and Northumberland-Montour County Drug Task Force agents.

Perez-Guzman is in Union County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail. He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Leo Armbruster, who will oversee Perez’s preliminary hearing July 12.

Felony charges include delivery of a controlled substance, two counts of possession with intent to deliver and use of a communications facility to commit a felony.

Misdemeanor charges are two counts of possession of a controlled substance and evidence tampering.
