LAURELTON — The annual haunted house and hay ride fundraiser held Oct. 26 and 27 at Union County West End Fair Grounds, approximately 17 miles west of Route 15, turn left onto Fairground Road, just after passing Penns Creek Angler. Fairgrounds are about one mile ahead. Gates open at 5 p.m. Haunted house begins at 5:30 p.m. and the hay ride at 7 p.m. (or when it gets dark). Food and games. Sponsored by Giving the Gift of Sight, Inc., a new non-profit organization made up of and run by volunteers raising money for families in need. Funds raised go to help children receive treatment for optic nerve hypoplasia (ONH for short) and to support families whose child is ill or hospitalized.
