WATSONTOWN — Borough police arrested a man Saturday, after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 5-year-old girl.
Charles A. Hollenbach, no permanent address, was charged Saturday with four felonies: aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors, and endangering the welfare of a child stemming from several incident throughout the month of October, police said.
Hollenbach allegedly assaulted the 5-year-old at a home in the borough of Watsontown “on more than one occassion.”
Police did not release further details of the case.
Hollenbach was arraigned Saturday and remains in Northumberland County prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
This is the third child sexual assault case in upper Northumberland County in recent weeks.
Oct. 15, Brian Edward Neuby, of Milton, was charged with assaulting a 16-year-old girl multiple times since she was in sixth grade, police said. Neuby was charged with felony counts of statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault of a person younger than 16 and corruption of minors and misdemeanor indecent assault, according to documents.
Brian Orndorf, 42, of Milton was charged Oct. 8 with corruption of minors, indecent exposure and indecent assault stemming from an Aug. 30 incident, where he allegedly entered a 14-year-old girl’s bedroom and began touching her, according to court documents. He next faces Northumberland County Court action.
