DANVILLE — By the end of the week, Danville School District officials expect to have penalties assigned to high school students caught drinking at a post-prom party in Rush Township, Northumberland County.
“Definitely by the end of this week, things will be worked out in the sense that students will know what consequences will be given by the school district,” high school Principal Lee Gump said. “We’re still in the investigative phase, working through, talking to students, talking to parents.”
Any consequences would apply to a student’s extracurricular activities, such as sports or clubs, Gump said.
State police at Stonington Wednesday morning released the list of 27 juveniles and adults charged with underage drinking following the party at 118 Elysburg Road in Rush Township this weekend.
Adults are Jared A. Daku, 19, of 70 Bennett Road; Matthew P. McConnell, 19, of 10 Red Oak Drive; Donie Ann Keeley, 18, of 22 Landau Road; Lauren N. Roth, 18, of 4 Erin Drive; Michael J.
