— MIDDLEBURG - Petitioners seeking to remove two Midd-West School Board members from elected office filed a brief in Snyder County Court this morning seeking a preliminary injunction preventing the board from making any critical decisions affecting board appointments, hirings, personnel decisions and policy amendments.

The brief was filed by Mount Pleasant Mills resident Jenn Arbogast on behalf of about 300 taxpayers who recently signed a petition to remove board president Victor Abate and director Ronald Wilson for alleged neglect of duty.

The board is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Middleburg Elementary School to reconsider the appointment of a new board director to fill Scott Norman’s vacant seat.
