Ex-con nailed for Facebook death threat

NEW BERLIN — A 20-year-old Mifflinburg ex-con who used Facebook to threaten to kill a woman told police he was just trying to scare the victim because he believed she had stolen a video game from him.

The victim told police that because of Brandon Allen Davies’ criminal history, she was alarmed by his threats, and police added that there was no evidence that the woman had been involved in stealing the video game.

It all began when Davies allegedly sent a message on Facebook that included: “hy this is brandon give me my stuff back I am going to kill all of u.”

The victim told police that she had no idea what Davies was talking about, but “she is scared for her life because she thinks Brandon is crazy,” police said in court documents.

Court records show Davies has a prior conviction for making terroristic threats, as well as a conviction for criminal trespassing for illegally entering a structure, among other convictions.

When a police officer located Davies and asked him about the comments, Davies allegedly told the officer that someone had taken two Playstation 3 controllers and a “Call of Duty MW3” from his brother’s apartment. Davies allegedly said he was just trying to get those items returned.
