— MIFFLINBURG - Mifflinburg Area High School cheerleaders fold and pack some of the nearly 3,300 pink T-shirts they sold — $5 a pop — for “Pink Out” day this Friday in Mifflinburg in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Green Ridge Graphics of Mifflinburg donated in the printing services for the shirts to be worn especially for the Mifflinburg Wildcats football game against the Shamokin Area Indians.
The cheerleaders also will sell special pink pom-poms with candy-filled handles for $3. After costs, all proceeds will go to breast cancer research at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
