Trucker trapped for an hour in I-80 wreckage

A Sunday evening crash closed the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 for four hours and sent a truck driver from Michigan to the hospital -- but not until after rescuers had to work for an hour to free Piotr W. Wochnik from the wreckage.

Troopers said another truck driver, Wochnik, 42, of Burbank, Ill., didn't stop for slowed traffic and his truck slammed into the back of the truck driven by John Bisel, 43, in the are of Mile Marker 213 in Turbot Township, Northumberland County.

Note: An earlier version of this story misidentified the trucker who was rescued from the wreckage.
