Two hurt in Valley Township wreck

DANVILLE — A grandmother and her granddaughter were injured after their car demolished a well house and damaged part of a home along Klein Road late Friday afternoon.

Cindy Munsch, of 119 Myers Road, told police she didn’t remember anything until she woke up in the black 2002 Grand Am.

She and granddaughter Brooke Munsch,, were taken by Danville ambulances to Geisinger Medical Center.

Lewis “Butch” Lee, retired Danville police chief, was watching TV and waiting for his wife, Linda, to come home from work at Geisinger.

“I thought it hit the house,” he said of their property at 105 Klein Road.

Tpr. Scott Carl said he found no skid marks. He said Mrs. Munsch would be cited for not having her granddaughter in a restraint in the back seat.

“Her head is banged up,” said her husband, Robert. The Munschs don’t live far from Klein Road.
