Great teacher

The city of Sunbury and the Pennsylvania College of Technology lost a great man and a wonderful professor in David London over the weekend.
He was by far the greatest teacher I've ever had, and I also considered him a close friend. I looked forward to going to his class because you not only learned about communication studies, you learned about life.
I'll always consider Dave as a mentor and someone who was more than willing to help you any way he could.
Our school system would be much better if there were more Dave Londons in the world.
Basically, I want Dave's family to know that he not only changed my life, but many others, I'm sure. Dave had a special gift of bringing out the best in people and the ability to make good students great.
The last time I saw Dave was at an antique sale outside Sunbury. One of the last things I remember saying to him was how much I appreciated what he had done for me over the years.
Dave never wanted any thanks though; that was just who he was and what he enjoyed doing. I guess I'm just grateful that I had the chance to let Dave know how much I appreciated everything he had done for me.
Dave will be missed, but never forgotten.
