Let me repeat: Ax the earmarks! Put the billions of dollars tied up in thousands of earmarks this year toward fixing the structurally deficient bridges and highways across the state and nation. Write your legislators! Demand they ax the earmarks and fix the bridges. Cindy O'Hora, Shamokin Dam
