The Republican Party picked John McCain, we had no vote. Now the party asks me for money to keep on doing the same old thing -- nothing. The Republicans and the Democrats cannot or will not do anything about the earmarks that go to fat cats in Washington, or the billions of dollars that go to farmers for not planting crops. How crazy is that?

We need to get rid of the lobbyists and environmentalists and wake up to the fact that they -- I mean both parties -- are ruining this great nation.

The president can only serve for two terms, we need a law that would set a mandatory two-term limit on all of Congress.

If you lawmakers will not work together, then we need to vote you out, simple as that. Are you just going to stick your heads in the sand and hope that the problem goes away? Wake up, Americans.

Let industry build oil refineries, drill for gasoline and oil, build nuclear power plants and let us buy from countries that produce fuel from sugar cane. Right now, the oil companies are adding 10 percent ethanol, made from corn and soy. Guess what? Gasoline prices have not come down but went up, and my miles per gallon have decreased. Ethanol made from corn and soy is not the answer.

We put men on the moon, we put men and women in space, surely we can resolve our energy problems. America is still the greatest nation in the world, but we can and will be taken down if we do not wake up. Sorry people, neither Obama nor McCain are the answer. God help America.
