Taking guns out of private hands

After reading Dr. Pat Bruno's a piece in the paper on gun violence I decided to do some research on

their pediatric website to find out what was their position on gun ownership.

They stated there are 60,000 pediatricians who are members in the American Academy of Pediatrics. You don't have to read very far to find out that they favor the complete taking away of guns from private hands. In fact, they said as long as you are a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, they will provide the material already to include in the letters to the editors for the newspaper.

In one paragraph, in the article it said children who received gun safety training are just as likely to play with and fire a real gun as children not trained. Children that go through gun safety courses will always be better at making better decisions about handling guns than children that don't have that training. The Pennsylvania Game Commission will tell anyone to stress safety at all times and even treat a unloaded gun as if it is loaded.

Gun owners who have children need to use every safety device and safe storage of gun components.
