Running from adversity

I am a baby boomer, born in a time that the U.S. had just came out of a war -- World War II.

I lived and grew up in a time of great change in the U.S. I was in high school when the U.S. went to war in Viet Nam. Some of the class mates that I knew died in that war.I hate war, that being said this, nation or any other nation, can not be so weak that we would allow other nations dictate to us how we would live is not acceptable.

Our freedom does not come from us but from the God that we serve. The President of the U.S. seems to think that we should bow to the will of other nations, afer all it is our duty, we must get along with the world.

Therefore I submit to you that if we do this, they find us to be very weak in our commitment to our allies. They also accept the fact we will turn and run in the face of adversity. This president has done just that and should not and can not be re-elected.

Robert Leach,

Winfield
