We can change the fuel we use

— Gloria Fultz’s “My Turn” call for conservation as the “best fuel source” for Pennsylvania, is yet another misguided example of “fix everything else except the root cause.”

Sorry, but I do not want to conserve fuel.

I don’t want to change out my existing heating system for an electric one, or re-insulate, on and on — and just who will pay for all that?

I don’t want to “have to” take my fuel efficient car on a long trips — my van is much more comfortable.

I want to have so much fuel, that no one needs to conserve it.

I want to have fuel become so cheap (making most products and food very cheap), that all can live a near-utopian life, where energy wars become pointless.

However, I also don’t want my fuel to add to CO2, sulfur, or methane buildup, which cause global warming.

In fact, I’d like my fuel to lower atmospheric levels of those.

How can what I want be achieved?

The answer is to fix the fuel source, rather than “to fix everything that burns fuel” or “to incessantly conserve fuel.”

The answer is to stop digging/drilling for fuel, and instead, manufacture as much non-polluting fuel as is needed.

The answer is to have fuel of a type that seamlessly flows into our existing fuel distribution and consuming system of furnaces and cars.

That best answer, and one that is proven to work, is non-polluting Oil-from-Algae (OFA). No other biofuel comes close in yield, and no farmland is needed to produce it.

When all the dug-for fuel runs out, OFA will be the only safe viable energy source for ships, trains, and heavy-lift planes and rockets.

To achieve this utopia, our government must make its production scale-up the main national priority, and halt all other resources and funding going to inferior green initiatives (including hybrid/electric car production), and redirect those into that OFA priority initiative.

If government emphasizes distributed town or home-based OFA production, then we can also get rid of energy monopolies and much of the grid.
