---- — The Daily Item is to be commended for always reporting with journalistic propriety and equity. Regardless of personal preferences, both sides of an issue are presented without prejudice.
Therefore, I am disappointed by the passive-aggressive attitude displayed in your photographic depictions of the Rev. Leah Schade.
Approximately a year and a half ago you published a picture of her at a rally in Shikellamy State Park. The photograph presented her in a most negative manner. Surely there were ample opportunities to snap a more flattering image. The picture you chose to publish presented her most unfavorably.
Since then you have reprinted this photo, cropped it to include only a head shot, showing an apparently crazed radical shouting at her audience.
To be fair, you have published other photos of her in a more favorable pose. Consequently, I was extremely perturbed to see once more this contorted image of her juxtaposed beside a benevolently smiling Fred Keller.
The article was fair and balanced, but the photograph allowed your passive-aggressiveness to show.
Please, in the future, LOL (Lay Off Leah).
