United Way is prejudice

I am writing to express my displeasure with the continuing articles about the exclusion of the Boy Scouts of America from the United Way.

If anything, the United Way is being prejudice toward the Boy Scouts of America. All organizations have their rules and regulations as to admission or rejection. The Scout oath states, morally straight and sexually straight. That means sex in the confines of marriage. Also in the Scout oath requires duty to God. In that context, God said marriage is between male and female, not male and male or female and female.

I have decided that I will no longer contribute to the United Way, but contribute to the charities I feel worthy of my contribution directly.

I am aware that donations specified will still be sent to the Boy Scouts of America, but this my way of expressing my displeasure with the United Way's handling of this matter.

I have respect for all individuals and their beliefs, but do not want their views, contrary to my beliefs, forced upon me or charities I endorse.
