In the Sept. 22, 2013 article "Meetings revive interest in proposed high school" it was mentioned that there were 'a handful of residents' opposed to moving the high school.
Being one of the 500 people who signed a petition against moving the high school I find being termed "a handful" insulting.
If 500 people turned up at a meeting it would be considered packed to the rafters.
As far as I am aware there has been no vote or other such numerical counting of support for the high school location.
While there has been vocal support for the board's decision to build a new school there is also much support for renovating the existing site. Without any voting by the general Lewisburg populace to term either side "a handful" is insulting and misleading.
