Pledge for term limits

Once again Republicans in Congress show where they stand when it comes to the rich and large businesses as opposed to the average American. They stop unemployment benefits, block food stamps, offer no relief for student loan rates, initially blocked funds to help hurricane and earthquake victims and hold up funds for other worthwhile projects with the excuse of not increasing the national debt. At the same time Republicans refuse to consider any increase in taxes, even on the very rich.

But when it comes to helping large corporations with tax breaks that will add billions to the deficit, they never worry about how it will be paid for. Look no farther than the recent votes of Mr. Barletta and Mr. Marino involving tax cuts and Mr. Toomey  and student loans.

Many Republicans have taken a pledge never to vote for tax increases. They, along with all others, should take a pledge involving term limits.
