State Rep. Kurt Masser is the kind of representative we all should have looking out for us in Harrisburg. Masser understood that some folks in his district may never have had a birth certificate or a driver's license, and it might be difficult for some of them to get to a driver's license center to secure a photo ID card. So he voted against the Voter ID bill. He voted the interests of his constituents, not the way Party apparatchiks told him he should.
Do voters call their representatives to thank them for voting the party line?
Do they congratulate them for achieving a 100 percent rating from some Washington lobbying outfit? I kind of doubt it. Rep. Culver, Rep. Keller, please take note.
