Entitled thief

Before the last presidential election I had a John McCain election sign stolen. Two days ago my Mitt Romney sign was stolen.

Like most insignificant crimes this went unreported. This letter is to the coward who hasn't the guts to challenge me and take the sign while I am standing there, but instead chooses to come in the night and remove a sign of support that I have placed in my yard symbolizing among other things that I feel that this country is headed in the wrong direction under the present administration.

It is my belief that this person is drawing a monetary entitlement from one of nearly 79 government welfare plans and plans to be lazy for the rest of his or her days, preferring not to work, but to let the American taxpayer carry the burden of paying for their upkeep. This person is not using the system as intended and is offended by those of us in the working and almost extinct middle class that resent how their tax money is squandered by government run social welfare plans at a cost of nearly $1 trillion per year.

Regardless of how the election turns out, know this thief, another sign has replaced the first one and in as much as you can steal my sign, you cannot steal my vote.

Ken Flewelling,

New Columbia
