Transparency and unanswered questions

For The Daily Item

— In another example of the lack of transparency this whole process has demonstrated, Dr DiRocco’s answer to the question about acerage: “The Newman farm was purchased in the late ’90s...The district purchased the land as the future site of the high school”, directly contradicts his own response to the question about whether or not the decision was pre-ordained.

My own specific, recurring question about the cost to the borough once they have to take over an abandoned building full of asbestos has only been addressed with their hopes to find an organization that has the resources to take over the site without any cost to the borough or school district. I’m still waiting to hear why the cost of demolition and environmental cleanup hasn’t been included in their numbers.
