Humanitarian aid only

Sen. Casey's premise for military involvement in Syria is unbelievable. We know about the Gulf of Tonkin, the Iraq WMDs and now the Syrian chemical attacks. No one has provided any details other than to say probably "150" died from chemical weapon use.

It is all stated in the subjunctive. No answers to who, what and how. News reports say 90,000 have died in the civil war. Blame Assad. That is easy to do. I don't like him. It is a ruse to get Americans to assume responsibility for involvement in another foreign war. There is no one to support in Syria.

The United States provides billions in military aid to "friendly" countries in the Middle East. Turkey has the 11th largest military in the world with a robust air force. Then throw in Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt. They are capable of any military intervention they deem necessary. The United States must stay out of Syria.

Write to Sen. Casey and tell him no military involvement. Provide humanitarian aid only.

Joe Brzostowski,

Milton
