Article 1, Section 2 of and the 17th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution gives the people the right to elect their own representatives. Rep. Tom Marino's proposal for term limits would lessen (infringe upon) that right.
We already have a term-limit mechanism -- they are called "elections."
Mr. Marino has utterly refused to make even the slightest move to improve gun safety, claiming that any restriction whatsoever would be an infringement on the 2nd Amendment. I wish Mr. Marino would explain to me how infringing on one part of the Constitution is different than infringing on another, because apparently I don't understand.
Mr. De Cerchio, in his Letter praising Mr. Marino for this "bold move" may forgive this hypocrisy and thank him for threatening my constitutional right, but I won't.
