How about reducing the speed on the bridge from 45 miles per hour to 35. Reaction time will increase greatly. Front Street in Sunbury already has its speed limit at 35 miles per hour. So there won't be a change going over the bridge.
Remember it's a speed limit meaning we "can" go slower. It's sad that the Department of Transportation has a "wait and see what happens" attitude. They should consider all options.
